Relaxation Tips: The Sound Of Calm

For the last year, I have been listening to this calm mediation music that I found on YouTube by Yellow Brick Cinema. They have loads of beautiful soundtracks to listen to but this one, is the one I listen to the most. I often listen to it when I am taking a shower, as that is a time of the day that I try and utilise for praying and speaking to God and my angels. The symbolism of the water washing away any negativity is something i’ve for a long time felt strongly about and listening to this calm, soft and gentle music helps centre me. I also listen to it whilst i’m working on blogposts, as it’s less distracting then songs with lyrics. I listen to this also when I meditate, it helps me to concentrate on my breathing as well as being in touch with what I am feeling. I don’t always have to be doing something to listen to this music, sometimes it’s nice just to have it as gentle background noise, I find it really comforting.

Music is so powerful and I have always had a deep connection with music and I love loads of different genres of music, I grew up being taught to appreciate many different sounds and even now I continue to try new sounds. Music can be uplifting, motivating, inspiring, nostalgic and I could go on. But it can also make also bring feeling of sadness, anger and other low energy feelings and sometimes I don’t have the emotional strength to deal with that. These serene sounds only ever make me feel calm and at peace with the world and though it’s not the most exciting of sounds, for me its more important to feel positive, relaxed and free of any anxiety.

I hope you like today’s post.

Love and light,
